The Marble vase collection is the result of a long evolution of exploring decor as such, searching for its boundaries and their possible crossing. Marble decoration is an original way of decorating ceramics and was created through a series of experiments, a thorough examination of the material and experimentation with different technological methods.
Chance plays a large part in the process of creating the decor. Each decor is therefore unique, and the vase is an original. You can be sure that you will never come across exactly the same and your vase is unique.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Veronika Švábeníková, originally from Uničov, is a designer of ceramics and porcelain. She studied at the Faculty of Art and Design of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem and then graduated from UMPRUM in Prague in the Studio of Ceramics and Porcelain under the guidance of Maxim Velčovský and Milan Pekar. She is currently working on marbled vases called Marble. She uses an experimental technique that combines traditions from India and Japan with unconventional methods.
