In a sense, bees have become co-authors of this candle series twice over. Firstly, as diligent workers, indispensable for the creation of the fruit whose shapes inspired the set, and secondly, as makers of the wax from which the candles are cast.
About the Brand
Jitka Šenková and Ondřej Nahorniak, the young authors who created the Natu bee series, met at the University of Ostrava. While studying art education, animation and sculpture, they decided to start making objects that would earn money in the beginning of their careers. This is how a series of candles inspired by nature and characterised by the typical smell of beeswax came to light.
