Cup Islas Fortunate S

About the product

design by Antonín Tomášek for Rudolf Kämpf

Dimensions: approx. 9 x 9 cm

On the occasion of Designblok 2021, the designer Antonín Tomášek designed new additions to the tablewear collection SOLO for the porcelain manufactory Rudolf Kämpf, which last year took home the

award for the best novelty of the manufacturer. This year's project in the form of ISLAS FORTUNATE thin-walled porcelain mugs responds to the main theme of the fair - happiness, and invites visitors to an interactive

installation in Gabriel Loci.

PORCELAIN LOTTERY

For the presentation of ISLAS FORTUNATE, designer Antonín Tomášek was inspired by gaming euphoria as a fleeting state of mind. The lottery with an instant win is reminiscent of the decor on porcelain as a trio of gaming

motifs that are hidden under gold foil like the symbols on a scratch-off moose. After the images are revealed, the buyer learns whether he has won another game chance in the form of a new product or at least takes away his competition one as a souvenir. The thin-walled mugs are available in 2 sizes, S and L, with every ninth one winning!

RUDOLF KÄMPF PORCELAIN MANUFACTORY

Since December 1907, the porcelain manufactory in Loučky, West Bohemia, has borne the name of Rudolf Kämpf. To this day, the company prides itself on the traditional production of hard porcelain, which stands out for its strength, high craftsmanship and durability. It is one of the last factories in the Czech Republic where the porcelain is handmade and thanks to this it develops limited series or unique specimens. Exclusive porcelain sets, vases and other accessories are offered under the Rudolf Kämpf brand, while contemporary tableware is the focus of the collections labelled Leander fresh.
