Vase Parazit
ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Limited edition porcelain vases called "Parasite".
The author wants her series to draw attention to the issue of the disappearance of porcelain factories in the Czech Republic, specifically on the example of Dubí and its most famous decoration Cibulák.
"Parasite" is also an interesting look at Czech culture from the perspective of a foreigner. In a series of vases, the author challenges the viewer to understand the philosophy behind the question of who is a parasite and whether there is a solution to change this problem.
So who is a parasite? Are contemporary designers parasitizing Czech classics? Or is the parasite the bulb that has filled every home and taken root in our subconscious? Perhaps the parasite is the people who allowed the demise of the great porcelain factories? Or is it the young creatives who are demolishing the classics and standards of earlier years? Or is the parasite the viewer, "consuming" beauty but not supporting the artist? Who is a parasite is for each individual to decide.
