ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Earrings are made of gold plated silver (Ag 925/1000)
Each bar is 2 centimeters long and 1.2 millimeters thick.
The sterling silver bars are carefully combined in the Stick Together collection in the spirit of the symbolism of encounter. Sticking together, as the name of the collection could be translated, is the unifying motif of these jewels and suggests a desire for closeness and intimacy. This runs through all interpersonal relationships, whether it is the intimacy of friendship or sexual intimacy.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Ondřej Stára graduated in biomedical engineering at the Czech Technical University and subsequently studied at the K.O.V. Studio under the guidance of Eva Eisler at UMPRUM. For his jewellery collections he received a nomination for the Czech Grand Design 2018 award in the Jewellery Designer category. He makes his jewellery by hand in small batches with attention to detail and quality. He also works on commission.
