The Hydrangea flower is made of 0,3 mm stainless steel sheet and is shaped into a half sphere.
Two ball chains hang from the English hook earring clasp.
On each are three hydrangea flowers. There is one pearl in each flower.
The electroplating and comaxing adds colour variations and a touch of exclusivity to the jewellery.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
The Naturalia collection is inspired by the beauty of flowers, the shape diversity of butterfly and dragonfly wings, the texture of leaves and the eternity of stones.
The author grew up in the countryside where I spent hours watching the water flow in a stream, the architecture of flowers and leaves, and the flight of a flock of birds.
The results of these observations and explorations of nature and its processes gave rise to this collection.
About the author
Michaela Gorcová has been designing and making jewellery since 1996, while studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in the Metal and Jewellery Studio under Prof. K. V. Novák. In her work she is inspired by nature, especially the dappled world: the structure of leaves, flowers or butterfly wings. He works mainly with stainless steel, but is not afraid of any technique. First, an idea has to come to him, which crystallizes over a long period of time. Then he tries to chic it up into the most perfect form with respect to the jewel. He goes beyond the traditional techniques of jewellery making and is not afraid to go beyond their limits.
