Roundness connected with straight, unbroken lines marking inner strength and great range.
The Di ring from the USUS collection is hand sculpted and then made from sterling silver using the mould casting process. It is then polished to a high shine.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
The USUS collection is inspired by the curves of modeling spatulas. In some cases, the jewellery directly carries the morphology of spatulas or is inspired by the shapes.
The individual shapes and pleasing elements are a symbol of creativity that we cannot forget. The machine-advanced world is displacing creativity, which is very important to us psychologically. We search for the unknown and forget that everything valuable is in our own hands.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The work of designer and jewellery designer Maria Kobelová is influenced by life situations that have shaped her creatively. Curve - shape - attraction - moment - balance. She seeks and discovers unity for visual and aesthetic communication. Her jewelry transcends into free conceptual art.
The author graduated from the Studio of Metal and Jewellery at FDULS in Pilsen under the guidance of prof. V.K.Novák and doc. M.A. Petr Vogel and ceramics studio under the guidance of doc. She won the competition for the Czech National Culinary Team with an original porcelain tableware set and was nominated for the Epi vibrating jewellery in the international Talente competition in Munich. She has exhibited her work in Slovakia, Poland, Italy, Portugal and Germany.
