Euphoria of life. Irregular rings weave together into a whole, just as the unpredictable experiences of individual days weave together our lives.
The Life necklace from the Euphoria collection is handcrafted in sterling silver and polished to a fine shine. The design is enriched with embedded silver elements polished to a velvety matte finish. The clasp is on a silver feather ring.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
In the Euphoria collection, designer and jeweller Maria Kobelova explores euphoria, highlighting its different types and emphasising their rarity. Euphoria is a part of each of us and takes many forms. Reaching the point of happiness! Happiness and a feeling of mental satisfaction, a sense of balance and a strong and violent release.
What is euphoria? What is its importance in our lives? What is part of it and the bond that draws us to it? Through the collection, the artist presents four views of happiness, which she simultaneously expresses and records in curves, volume, shape harmony and through the stones used. The aim of her work was to capture and express the feeling of euphoria and to try to get closer to this emotional state - the magic.
The shapes of the rings, necklaces, bracelets or earrings made of silver, complemented with stones, are defined by four types of euphoria in the collection.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The work of designer and jewellery designer Maria Kobelová is influenced by life situations that have shaped her creatively. Curve - shape - attraction - moment - balance. She seeks and discovers unity for visual and aesthetic communication. Her jewelry transcends into free conceptual art.
The author graduated from the Studio of Metal and Jewellery at FDULS in Pilsen under the guidance of prof. V.K.Novák and doc. M.A. Petr Vogel and ceramics studio under the guidance of doc. She won the competition for the Czech National Culinary Team with an original porcelain tableware set and was nominated for the Epi vibrating jewellery in the international Talente competition in Munich. She has exhibited her work in Slovakia, Poland, Italy, Portugal and Germany.
