The LAOKON beer glass was made using traditional glassmaking techniques and is hand cut. It is inspired by the helical movement of the stunning Greek sculpture Laokoon and his sons. Through the crystal glass, the genius loci of the colour of beer and beer specials can be beautifully seen.
ABOUT THE BRAND
The Czech brand Laokon was established in 2020 with the aim of producing quality contemporary art glass at the border between art and design. They work and are based in Prague and Nový Bor, where all glass is produced.
It all starts with an original design, which is consulted with glass artisans before it comes to the actual production. In many cases, however, glass is its own factor that surprises and forces experimentation.
