Time. It is relentless, fair, can be both beautiful and cruel. It flows in regular cycles towards an end or a new beginning. We all deal with it in our own way. In designing the Time collection, I tried to grasp time, to stop it, to materialize it and to divide it into individual parts. The collection of brooches, necklaces and earrings records a second, a minute, an hour, a day, a week, a month and a year.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Klára Šípková graduated from the K.O.V. studio under the guidance of Eva Eisler at the University of Applied Arts in Prague. She is a designer of artistic jewellery as well as small furniture and fashion accessories. Her jewellery is typical for its geometric purity and simplicity. She uses modern technologies such as laser cutting of metal. All her jewellery is handmade
