These earrings are classic, minimal and unique. Come explore the beauty of pearls that will take you under the surface of rivers. They are a graceful material created by nature, plus each pearl is different so no pair will ever be the same.
Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted using traditional and handmade jewellery making techniques.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Karla Olšáková focuses her work on the architectural concept of her jewellery. She expresses herself using a geometric language combined with kinetic elements and architectural principles. Clean, discreet and refined, this is the characteristic of her work. At its core is an exploration of the intimate poetry of jewellery. She also creates with unconventional materials such as wood, veneer, rubber, concrete or slate.
She graduated from the K.O.V. studio at the UMPRUM in Prague under the guidance of Eva Eisler, then founded her jewellery brand, with which she was awarded numerous prizes. Her collections are now part of permanent collections in Vienna, Hamburg, New York, Bratislava and the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague.
