The bracelet has two loops to adjust the length.
Handmade necklace with a ring and a rectangle with the structure of the sea.
MARE collection:
The simplistic leitmotif of the water surface expresses our nostalgia and longing for forgotten faraway places, for the unmistakable scent of the salty breeze. The reflected light softens the formal simplicity and purity of the undulating pattern on the surface of the jewellery. The collection therefore evokes the feeling of gently rolling waves on the shore.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Karla Olšáková focuses her work on the architectural concept of her jewellery. She expresses herself using a geometric language combined with kinetic elements and architectural principles. Clean, discreet and refined, this is the characteristic of her work. At its core is an exploration of the intimate poetry of jewellery. She also creates with unconventional materials such as wood, veneer, rubber, concrete or slate.
She graduated from the K.O.V. studio at the UMPRUM in Prague under the guidance of Eva Eisler, then founded her jewellery brand, with which she was awarded numerous prizes. Her collections are now part of permanent collections in Vienna, Hamburg, New York, Bratislava and the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague.
