ABOUT THE COLLECTION
The Last Drop collection juxtaposes the values of stable, solid and lasting relationships against consumerism, haste and imbalance. Last Drop is based on three key motifs, three vessels that have three very different destinies when filled with the last drop. Because the last drop does not necessarily mean the end. The Sacred Heart as proof of the humanity of the child of God. The heart is a vessel that everyone has. When the last drop comes, it bursts. It doesn't have to mean the end, but once it's healed, it will never be the same. It will leave a visible scar.
About the autor
Janja Prokić was born in Belgrade, Serbia and now lives in Prague. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of Vladimir Skrepl, at the Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of sculptor Kurt Gebauer and graduated in the studio of K.O.V. designer Eva Eisler. She has been creating jewellery since 2011 and has won several Czech Grand Design awards. Jewellery for Janja must have a deeper meaning than just visual aesthetics and all collections are in some way based on her personal life. Her work is inspired by elements of shamanism, symbolism and white magic, as well as her childhood, dreams and fairy tales. Her biggest muse, however, is nature. Each collection is unique and focuses on different motifs.
