INNATURA
The Innatura
collection of drinking glass is hand-blown into moulds made from waste sawdust and mycelium. Studio LLEV focuses on products and projects related to undergrowth, for which they are looking for new applications in design. They are the first in the world to produce glass moulds from a mixture of unwanted agricultural or wood waste and mycelium. This allows them to create limited colour glass collections where each piece is an original. They also strive to eliminate impacts in their own production. Moulds made from mycelium make it possible to produce complex shapes of glass moulds in an economically inexpensive way.
ABOUT THE BRAND
LLEV is an independent studio that combines art and design. They create their own expressive design objects and product collections for galleries and companies. They base their designs on a process that combines research with the integrity of traditional craftsmanship. They use their own creative language that is characterized by working not only with form, but also with the message of each product or piece, its story or setting in a contemporary context of sustainability. They are interested in the function of things in the 21st century. At the centre of their work is the human being, who is a kind of imaginary employer. The main goal of their work is to simplify and enrich human life through design and art.
Design studio LLEV was founded in 2004 after graduating from UMPRUM in Prague. It works with intuition, modern and traditional technologies.
