Earrings created for Mrs. Eva Pavlova can now be worn by you.
The Thilia or Lípa earrings were created by designer Eva Růžičková for the wife of the President of the Czech Republic, Eva Pavlova, on the occasion of his inauguration.
Together with the earrings, a brooch of the same name was created. Both jewellery pieces contain elements referring to the state symbolism such as lime leaves and flowers, while at the same time they represent a certain fresh touch.
The lime tree as our national tree is deeply rooted in Czech history. In folk tradition, the linden tree symbolises protection, help and love. Lime leaves adorn the state seal, the flag of the President or banknotes and now also jewellery for the First Lady, Mrs Eva Pavlova.
Both jewellery pieces are made of silver, parts are cast using the lost wax method and composed using silver wire.
The details are gold plated, the gold colour here symbolises the highest human values and the source of life.
