About the author

The range of Roman Šedina's portfolio is wide and includes technologies, colours and textures. With his unconventional approach and compact original collections, he pushes the boundaries of ready-made products into the world of fine art and conceptual design. His limited edition ceramic collections are built on quality craftsmanship. His works are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. The author has been nominated for the Czech Grand Design Designer of the Year several times for his innovative approach. He is currently working on vases created on a potter's wheel sprayed with dyed pottery clay using his own unique technology.
