ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Zdeněk Kunc was born in 1983 in Chřibská, home to the oldest glassworks in Central Europe. Thanks to this, he came into contact with the glass craft from an early age, which fascinated him to such an extent that at the age of 15 he decided to study it at the Glass School in Nový Bor. During his studies, he hitchhiked around Western Europe with glassmaking equipment in his backpack and made professional contacts that last to this day. After nine years of apprenticeship, he became a master of vocational training at the same school, in the fields of glass blowing and glass cutting.
Today, in addition to custom glassmaking and freelance artwork, he is also involved in public entertainment and educational presentations of the glass craft and interactive workshops.
