About the author

Milan Krajíček studied glass forming and design at the Secondary School of Glass Arts in Železný Brod and graduated from the glass studio under Vladimír Kopecký at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. With each work, Milan Krajíček goes further and further in his search for the possibilities of glass and his imagination. In his conception, glass is a fluid, truly alchemical essence, from which he creates works on the borderline between solid and liquid. He is not afraid of deconstructing form, playing with matter and its surroundings, blending inner and outer space. His objects bring a specific tone to contemporary glass art that is not often heard in it - a fusion of innovative technology with a distinctive artistic vision.
